You need a software named Riva FLV Encoder (freeware). Install it as a commom Windows application, open it, and follow these instructions: First, you need to convert your video file. The following steps explained: 1. Choose a video file from your computer (avi, mov, mpg, wmv etc.). 2. Choose a directory where your output file (flv) will be saved. Usually it's the same directory as your original file but that may differ sometimes. 3. Give your output file a name (maximum 40 characters are allowed for upload). Choose alphanumeric chars (A-Z, a-z, 0-9), -, _ and spaces. No other special characters are allowed. 4. Choose the flv size (400x300 is perfect). Don't forget to choose Deinterlace as well (this will remove the possible horizontal lines from your original video). 5. The output framerate must be 25 for smooth movement (25 frames per second is the PAL TV standard). 6. Adjust audio settings for 56-64 kbits/s, 22050 Hz and Stereo Channel. 7. Click Encode and wait (waiting time depends on the original video length and your computer hardware). Sometimes the software looks like it's frozen. Leave it as it is because in the backgroud there is an application called ffmpeg.exe that is running. When the conversion is done you may check the file in the directory where you've saved it.
Next step, create a video thumbnail.1. Leave the same settings as for the video conversion process. Just click the Image tab. 2. Choose to sample an image from the first video frame (First Image). 3. Click Encode. You may also click Preview to ensure the image has been created. That's all, you're ready for file upload now.
